Our Trainers

  • Julie Veiseh
    • Julie is our Group Fitness/Pilates Coordinator, she is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Exercise &Sports Trainers Association (NESTA)  and has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is a BOSU Master Trainer/Presenterand is certified in AFAA, BODYPUMP, BODYBAR, Hydro-Cycle, Johnny-G Spinning and is STOTT Pilates Trained. Julie has performed on Channel 2 Sunday Extra and has been featured in the Summer of 2004 &Winter of 2005 publication of Total Body Magazine. She was the fitness consultant for Lakewood Church "League of Professional Women" in 2007  and has taken her expertise abroad to Aberdeen, Scotland. Her specialties are cardiovascular training, strength training, core stability and pilates reformer.
  • Kay-Kay White
    • Kay-Kay has been in the fitness industry since 1995. A Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), she also maintains Group Exercise, Pilates, and Spinning Certifications. In addition, Kay-Kay holds state certifications in Psychology, Dance, and Physical Education. Specializing in sport specific training, agility, strength training, core, and flexibility, she enjoys working with all ages and fitness levels. Kay-Kay is a former varsity track, volleyball and dance coach and has judged area high school cheer and dance tryouts. She enjoys tennis, hiking, golf, swimming and watching both her sons' athletics events.

  • Kyle Fite
    • Kyle obtained his Bachelor's degree from Lamar University and is a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise.
      Kyle was Assistant Athletic Director at Houston Downtown Club for 8 years and has held similar positions at other facilities for the past 25 years.

      Kyle has a variety of certifications including TRX, Bosu, Rehabilitation and Kettle Ball.

  • Kyle Rakoczy
    • Kyle is a Certified Personal Trainer through Professional Fitness Instructor Training (PFIT) and a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Sport Management. Currently working towards a certification in Rehabilitative Exercise, Kyle began his career in Health & Fitness four years ago at the Briar Club. A former runner and basketball player, Kyle now competes in sprint distance triathlons. His goals are to help his clients attain weight loss, increase their strength and conditioning levels, increase flexibility, and in general achieve a healthier lifestyle.

  • Sally Whitworth
    • Sally has worked in the fitness industry for 20 years and obtained certifications in London, England as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Sally worked her way up from instructor to Group Fitness Coordinator in a small boutique gym in the UK before moving with her family to the US in 1998. Working in a large fitness club in Houston for 7 years, Sally became a Master Instructor for Cardio Strength Conditioning training and Group Cycle. Whether working with a group or one on one, Heart Rate Training, conditioning, core, and cardio are Sally's specialties.

  • Kevin Baxter
    • Before joining HRC, Kevin spent 10 years working at the Met downtown.
      Kevin's certifications include National Academy of Sports Medicine, TRX and CPR.
      Kevin enjoys working out, running and playing tennis in his spare time. He takes pride in helping all of his clients acheive their fitness goals including strength training, weight loss and flexibility.
  • Megan Gandy
    • Megan moved to Houston in 2014 to continue her education where she is currently attending Houston Baptist University and obtaining her degree in Kinesiology: Wellness Management. She is expecting to graduate in May 2018. Megan enjoys working in the hospitality industry and plans to pursue a career in Athletic Directing in a health and fitness facility. Megan has a nationally accredited Personal Training and Maximum Interval Training certification through NETA and a National Coaching certification through ASEP.
  • Mandee Lee
    • Mandee is a life-long lover of all things fitness. She grew up dancing and hasn’t stopped moving since. While she was a student at the University of Texas, she trained friends just for the fun of it. She is now an ACE certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She began teaching yoga and Pilates in 2007 and has turned her passion into a career, dedicating her life to empowering others on their path to a healthier life. She strives to make her workouts and classes inspiring, fun and accessible to all levels. Above all else, Mandee is a mother and her young daughter motivates her daily to be the best, brightest version of herself and she carries that inspiration with her into her work. She feels so blessed to be able to share her love for fitness with others every day.
  • Chief Oniya
    • Chief Oniya is a nationally accredited master trainer and nutrition specialist that has acquired the skill set and knowledge from a wide spectrum of arrays ranging from professional athletes all the way to rehabilitating seniors. Chief has changed hundreds of lives and was fortunate enough to work alongside industry leaders like James Cooper and pro NFL Antonio Armstrong. As a former University of Houston Athlete, Chief now competes in state wide 5k competitions and is currently working on his first fitness book. His goals are to increase his clients quality of life strategically, with his unique training approach and experience in human relations and motivation. Whether working with a group or one on one, water-rowing, high-intensity interval training, muscle building/toning are Chief’s specialties.
