The Houston Racquet Club represents a unique alternative in country clubs in the area. It starts with our incomparable tennis facilities, but goes much further than that.
Founded in 1968, HRC was the first major club in this part of the country to be devoted primarily to tennis. During the three decades since its inception, the club has played a major role in the game of tennis and the community. HRC has been rated among the Top Fifty Clubs in the United States by Tennis Magazine. HRC was the recipient of the 2007 Organization of the Year Award from the USTA Texas Section, and most recently received the 2007 Organization of the Year Award from the USTA for the entire United States.
Situated on 31 beautifully landscaped and wooded acres in the heart of the fashionable Memorial neighborhood, HRC is an oasis of secure relaxation providing unparalleled tennis, fitness and distinctive social atmosphere. Limited to 1000 families, HRC is geared to serving their needs on an exclusive basis - family, business and sport.
