Tennis at the Houston Racquet Club has a long-standing and distinguished tradition. From the inception of the club, tennis has been an integral part of its personality. The club is, in fact, the birthplace of the women's professional tennis tour! Our goal has always been to inspire interest and participation at not just the local level, but also at the regional and national levels. To this end, a wide array of tennis activities is provided for members.

It doesn't matter whether you're a beginning player or a wizened veteran - we've got something for you! From individual and group instruction, to social mixer events, to competitive tournaments, to league play, men, women, and juniors of all ages and skill levels can find something to engage them and enrich their playing experience.

As you may know, the Houston Racquet Club has been named one of the Top Fifty Clubs in America. Our junior tennis program has also been honored, and boasts several players who have won national and international titles. Our teaching staff is one of the finest and most experienced anywhere, capable of helping players of all persuasions to improve and enjoy playing.
