Kyle obtained his Bachelor's degree from Lamar University and is a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise.
Kyle was Assistant Athletic Director at Houston Downtown Club for 8 years and has held similar positions at other facilities for the past 25 years.
Kyle has a variety of certifications including TRX, Bosu, Rehabilitation and Kettle Ball.
- Megan Gandy
“Born and raised in Brenham,
Texas, Megan moved to Houston in 2014 to continue her education where she
attended Houston Baptist University and obtained her degree in Kinesiology:
Wellness Management. Megan is a former athlete, competing in cheerleading and
swimming throughout high school, as well as, cheering a HBU. She has a
nationally accredited Personal Training certification through NETA, and a
National Coaching certification through ASEP. Megan is currently the Assistant
Fitness Director and a Personal Trainer. She enjoys working in the hospitality
industry and plans to continue pursuing a career in Athletic Directing.”

Mandee is a life-long lover of all things fitness. She grew up dancing and hasn’t stopped moving since. While she was a student at the University of Texas, she trained friends just for the fun of it. She is now an ACE certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She began teaching yoga and Pilates in 2007 and has turned her passion into a career, dedicating her life to empowering others on their path to a healthier life. She strives to make her workouts and classes inspiring, fun and accessible to all levels. Above all else, Mandee is a mother and her young daughter motivates her daily to be the best, brightest version of herself and she carries that inspiration with her into her work. She feels so blessed to be able to share her love for fitness with others every day.
- Chief Oniya
Chief Oniya is a nationally accredited master trainer and nutrition specialist that has acquired the skill set and knowledge from a wide spectrum of arrays ranging from professional athletes all the way to rehabilitating seniors. Chief has changed hundreds of lives and was fortunate enough to work alongside industry leaders like James Cooper and pro NFL Antonio Armstrong. As a former University of Houston Athlete, Chief now competes in state wide 5k competitions and is currently working on his first fitness book. His goals are to increase his clients quality of life strategically, with his unique training approach and experience in human relations and motivation. Whether working with a group or one on one, water-rowing, high-intensity interval training, muscle building/toning are Chief’s specialties.
- Landi Orza
is a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise. She
earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s Degree
from the University of Central Oklahoma. Landi
has worked as a personal trainer for the past 4 years and is certified in Sport
Nutrition and has a TRX specialty. In her free time, Landi
competes in triathlon, running and cycling races and has completed multiple

- Ernesto Osorio
Ernesto Osorio has been a
professional fitness trainer for 25 years with solid grounding in exercise
science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Athletic performance, Physiology, and Nutrition. Ernesto holds certifications through CSCS, TPI,
ACE, ACSM, AFFA, CIAR, PRCSM and attends periodic workshops and educational
seminars at such reputable facilities as Coopers Institute in Dallas. Ernesto
also furthered his education by going through nursing school to provide clients
a larger medical, holistic, and preventative treatment program to his client’s

Kyle is a Certified Personal Trainer through Professional Fitness Instructor Training (PFIT) and a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Sport Management. Currently working towards a certification in Rehabilitative Exercise, Kyle began his career in Health & Fitness four years ago at the Briar Club. A former runner and basketball player, Kyle now competes in sprint distance triathlons. His goals are to help his clients attain weight loss, increase their strength and conditioning levels, increase flexibility, and in general achieve a healthier lifestyle.
- Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas has worked
as a certified personal trainer (I.F.P.A.) for 13 years. Drawing on his
extensive experience as an Olympian, Eric works with clients across the fitness
spectrum--from those who are looking to achieve their health and fitness goals to
professional and student athletes competing at the highest levels.
highlights include being a 2000 Olympic
Trials runner-up; a 1999 & 2003 Pan American Games silver medalist; and Top
10 400-meter hurdler in the world 8 out of 10 years. Eric's clients run the
gamut from school-age children, high school athletes, soccer moms and
executives to NBA, NFL, and MLB players, and celebrities.
In 1996, Eric moved to Houston, trained for the
1996 Olympics as an alternate and attended the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games as a
member of the U.S. Olympic team and competed in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Sally Whitworth
Sally has worked in the fitness industry for 20 years and obtained certifications in London, England as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Sally worked her way up from instructor to Group Fitness Coordinator in a small boutique gym in the UK before moving with her family to the US in 1998. Working in a large fitness club in Houston for 7 years, Sally became a Master Instructor for Cardio Strength Conditioning training and Group Cycle. Whether working with a group or one on one, Heart Rate Training, conditioning, core, and cardio are Sally's specialties.
- Donna Wright
Donna Wright was born in South Carolina. She moved to Houston at a young age and grew up a true Houstonian! Donna has always led an active lifestyle, playing on several tennis teams, running marathons and participating in triathlons. She also enjoys volunteering at the Houston Zoo, where she enjoys working with the animals. Donna attended the University of Texas and has 3 children and 4 dogs. Donna has spent the last 7 years at Define Body and Mind Studios as a Senior Instructor and the Instructor Trainer where she recruited,auditioned and trained over 80 instructors. Donna is certified in Barre, Spin, Rebounder (trampoline), and Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
