Dress Code

In general, the Club maintains a country club “casual dress” code in the dining areas and all other areas of the Club excluding (1) the Redwood Deck before 5:00 pm and (2) the tennis courts and jogging trail, Fitness Center, swimming pools and Youth Activities Areas. “Casual dress” shall be construed as slacks, dress jeans, dress shorts, skirts, and dresses (for women and girls), sleeved or sleeveless shirts (for women and girls), sleeved shirts (for men and boys), neat athletic attire (other than sleeveless shirts (for men and boys) and shoes or sandals.

TENNIS

  • Only regulation tennis shoes may be worn on the tennis courts.

FITNESS

  • Shirts must always be worn. No cut/torn sleeves; sleeveless shirts must be manufactured to be sleeveless. Shirts that expose the full midriff or entire back are not permitted.
  • Only regulation fitness/tennis shoes may be worn while using the Fitness Center equipment and during group exercise studios. Each Member and Guest is expected to wear appropriate workout/tennis apparel while using the Fitness Center equipment. Swimming suits are not considered appropriate workout/tennis apparel.
  • Shoes must be worn at all times inside the fitness center except inside the group exercise and Pilates studios for yoga and reformer classes. No open toe shoes or flip flops are permitted.

POOLS

  • Proper swimming attire required.
  • No thongs or swimsuit bottoms that do not cover the majority of the buttocks, or are see-through, will be permitted in or around any areas.
  • Swimming attire is not allowed in the Clubhouse (except in the Youth Activities Areas), on the tennis courts, in the Fitness Center (except in the Locker Rooms and connecting corridors) or in the dining areas of the Club (except the Redwood Deck before 5 p.m.).

DINING

  • “Dressy casual” attire is always expected (1) in the Creekside Lounge, (2) in the Adult Dining Room and Deck on every day except Sunday and (3) in the Ballroom for special occasions such as Thanksgiving Brunch, Easter Brunch and Mother’s Day Brunch. “Dressy casual attire” means “casual dress” excluding athletic attire, caps, visors, flip–flops and shorts other than Bermuda or similar style dress shorts.
  • Tennis or other neat athletic attire (other than sleeveless shirts (for men and boys) or other “casual dress” referred to above is always required (1) in the Family Dining Room and Deck, the Indoor/Outdoor Bar and Bar Deck, the Courtside Café and Court 35 and (2) on the Redwood Deck after 5 p.m.

PRIVATE EVENTS

  • Children ten (10) years of age and older are expected to adhere to the dress code. For certain Club functions and areas, alternative dress codes may be specified in the announcement information for such a function.
